LOCAL COVID-19 TESTING FOR TRAVELERS
TRAVELERS ENTERING ALASKA
All travelers entering Alaska must submit a Travel Declaration and Self-Isolation Plan through the STATE OF ALASKA TRAVEL PORTAL
prior to travel
Must arrive with proof of a negative test taken within 72 hours, or proof of a test taken within 72 hours with results pending, or pay $250 to get tested at the airport.
If you have proof of a negative result, you still need to follow strict social distancing requirements.
If you are waiting for results you need to self-quarantine until your result is returned, and then follow strict social distancing for 14 days or until a second negative test is taken and received at 7-14 days after arrival.
Must arrive with proof of a qualifying negative COVID-19 test or receive a COVID-19 test for no cost when you arrive in Alaska, or self-quarantine at your expense until results arrive or self-quarantine at your expense for either 14 days or the duration of your trip whichever is shorter.
You must quarantine until you get the result of your first test and practice strict social distancing even if you have your first negative result.
